new born child & changing bank deposit from normal to fixed account..

hello seniors ,
very soon i am expecting a new born ,i need to ask and clarify something :
1 ) what all documents and what should be my 1st step if god blesses me with a child as i have to notify CIC as per 2nd AOR?
2) presently my bank deposit is lying in normal account so do i have to increase the amount in that as now the family members will increase to 3 , and while i am doing that can i make that account into fixed deposit .as their is a loss lying so much money in savings account .
3)i applied thru an agent and they didnt advice me to put money in fixed deposit and this money is lying in same savings account for last 1 1/2 year without any gain.please advice
4) last but not the least when can i expect my medicals my file reached cic on 17th june 2010 and second AOR ON jan. 14th 2011 visa office is new delhi can i make thru this year ?

IF BABY IS BORNED THAN U MADE HIS PASSPORT AND DATE OF BRITH. I THINK IT TAKE 2-3 MONTHS.THEN U TELL DELHI CHC.

MY SISTER APPLIED IN MI 3 SHE GOT MEDICALS 2 DAYS BACK AND WENT FOR MEDICALS TODAY .
I APPLIED 1 YEAR BEFORE NOTHING HAPPENED YET FEELS SO BAD SOMETIMES WHY CIC DOING THIS TO US MY PROFFESSION IS CHEF THEY HAVE VERY LESS CAPS ALL 3 MIS BUT NO PROGRESS

Dear Binson, congrats for the coming baby. Your finds can be in the form of fixed deposits, no harm in converting your money to fixed deposits. Make your money to earn something for you, no use of sitting it idle. Remember to cover the settlement funds for three members.

Dear Binson, update the vo when baby is born and let them ask for proof of funds. They might not even ask it.
