Hi guys

 Am on a work visa is UK and working with an IT company.I want to apply for canadian immigration...can anyone help from where to start on...

U have to wait till the new list of eligible occupations comes out by July. your profession, IT is not on the current list. Another way around it is to have an offer of employment from a Canadiam employer.

Thanks for the info.....but there is a guy from this canadavisa.com link he says i can apply under Quebec Skilled worker category...is that true...?

to apply for PNP program of Quebec, you'd need to demonstrate your language skills in French.
The door is simply closed for IT for an year from now.
only hope for you is AEO .

btw, which field of IT do you work in?

    Am working as a Computer Systems and Network Engineer. Does it help anyway....? under Quebec or Federal skilled worker....?

if you could collect AEO, then it woulnt matter from which NOC it had been issued by your employer in Canada. AEO is something often Canadian employers dont like to go after unless the applicant poses a valuable knowledge and this could bring them lucrative corporate gain. Canadian employers can get employees at a good number within Canada but there are exceptions when they hire from outside using AEO.

you can talk to noted immigration consultants about that in London. do let us know what they say in London.

I dont recommend any consultant for AEO.
You can ask your friends or open a separate thread.
