I had submitted my application for Work Permit in Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi last November 23, 2011. Till now I havent received anything. I have a question, I mistakenly chose the option to apply for Open Work Permit instead of Other as I am actually applying dependently. Please advise me what to do? shall I send newly filled up form or shall I wait for their decision and re-apply again. Please advise me I really dont know what to do now..

It doesnt matter, my friend Had the same mistake too. Nasa canada na siya now.

Thank u for ur response,you really made me calm, i really hope it will not affect anything as I dont feel any doubt with my application aswell, i have this positive vibration that my work permit will be granted very soon. where did ur friend submitted his/her application? Coz mine I submitted here in Abu Dhabi.

One thing i noticed is mas mabilis ang processing ng papers sa Pinas kesa dito sa Dubai..bakit ganun? un papers namen nun Nov pa nasubmit wala pang ni whatever from the Embassy. samantalang sa pinas, may nagsubmit ng Dec may AOR and MR na..grabe ah..

Are you really a dependent of a Canadian Citizen or a PR?

I am applying for work permit, it's just that I mistakenly chose open work permit option instead of other, as the option in the website was not clear..
