i HAVE BEEN SELECTED BY A COMPANY IN KOLKATA [ INDIA ] NAMED FUNCTION IMMIGRATIONS. THEY CLAIM THAT THEY PLACE CANDIDATES IN HOT JOBS IN CANADA , THEY DEMAND 2500 USD INITAILLY FROM THE CANDIDATES FOR INTERVIEW , JOB LETTER AND MEDICALS AND REMANING 2500 USD TO BE PAID AFTER CAQ AND LMO.

THE OFFICE OF FUNCTION IMMIGRATION IS VERY NEW OFFICE STARTED RECENTLY , I HAVE BEEN SELECTED FOR A HOTEL IN CANADA CALLED FLOURISH HOTEL , SALARY OFFERED IS 10 CANADIAN DOLLARS PER HOUR.
THE PARENT COMPANY OF FUNCTIONS IMMIGRATION IS MAIDS IN CANADA AND THE JOB OFFER IS FOR FLOURISH HOTEL.

PLS HELP ME IN VERIFYING IF ALL THIS IS GENUINE AND WEATHER I SHOULD PROCEED WITH IT OR THIS IS ALL A SAME SCAM LIKE OTHER COMPANIES.

Very likely a scam.  How were you selected?  Did you apply through this company or they contacted you (through email)?  If they contacted you, 100% a scam.

We got connected to this company through another company in mumbai, they are recruiting for this kolkata company as agents. but the parent company is MAIDS IN CANADA.

I have gone through the attached thread , Thank u very much it all appears to be a big scam.

Are you a client of this company?  Are you working through them in Canada or did you get your money back from them?  If not, how would you know that they will refund any money?

How much do they charge for an LMO and where do you send the money?

LMO is applied to relevant authorities in Canada after paying the necessary fees and it takes two and a half months (if you are lucky) if you are unlucky it may take one year also.And it is issued by the Labour Department of Canada Govt.Function Immigration's main job is to apply for your LMO after collecting the fees from you and he also promises and gives you in writing as well that incase your LMO is rejected your money will be refunded within 30 days of rejection.So what is the problem and where is the problem.

Most people would require more information before sending their money.  So you say the LMO is issued by the Labour Department of Canada.  What are the fees for the LMO?  Does this include administrative fees for Function immigration or only the fees for the government?  Does the employer who eventually hires the foreign worker also pay for recruiting?

Also I would be interested to know what is your affiliation with this company.  Do you work for them or did you get a job through them?  How can you guarantee a refund and by that I mean, if the LMO applicant sends the money and gets no LMO and no money is refunded to them, where do they go to complain?

BE VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYY CAREFULL , THEY ARE ALL CROOKS AND WILL TAKE AWAY ALL YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

REALLY SORRY FOR ALL GUYS , THOSE WHO EVEN AFTER READING ALL THESE INFORMATION ARE STILL FALLING INTO THE TRAPS.

The contact numbers given on the website of maids in canada and flourish hotels appears to be mobile numbers and not the land line numbers.
i tried speaking to flourish hotel and got a very lame reply , whole thing appears to be a complete scam again .

I do understand that so many people are eager to blackmail people. If they companies are fraud why have Canadian authorities not closed them.

 @ Mr. Frank you claimed to have paid $4000, to who? I know that blackmail is easy. All these post have been reported to fbi for immediate action. This blackmail must stop.

They can not be closed because there are in fact no companies or if the companies actually exist, they almost certainly have nothing to do with that.

A scammer wants to get rich at your cost.  He will therefore send mass emails to people saying things like "do you want to work in Canada?" or "you have been selected" or whatever to make people bite.  He may have made up a website for a non-existing hotel or other place where he is telling the "clients" they will be working.  He might even use the name of a real hotel where people can go to the website of that hotel but he is counting on you not trying to contact that hotel through other means than the email address and phone number he gives you in the email.  The phone number can be a cell phone or a number gained through an internet service.  The scammer could use a Canadian number without even being in Canada.  At first everything will look good but then there will be fees.  The scammer will tell you that you must pay a processing fee, work permit fee, health care fee, insurance fee, deposits and all kind of other fees he can think of.  As long as you keep paying, he will think of new fees for you to pay until finally you realize it is a scam.  That is how it works.  The people who have lost the money will try to get it back but when you are fighting against people who you don't know the real name of nor where they are actually located, it is very hard.
