Hi Guys,

I have a query regarding the requirement to provide references/work contracts. I have the appropriate reference letter from my past employer but i can't get hold of my contract letter as i misplaced it long ago. what do i do in such case. have any one submitted an application without a work contract.
Because what are you to do if say you do not have a contract.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciative,

Hi Brav21

It is always recommended to submit a notarized copy of your previous and current work contract & reference letters. There is a provision, if you cannot get a reference from your current employer, in that case you can explain it to the Visa officer.

In your case, if you have all the reference letters from your past employer(s) you can submit those, along with a explanation letter, stating the truth about your contract papers. You can communicate with your past employer(s) to give you a copy of the contract paper, most of the offices keep these sort of information. As it is better to submit the contract papers.
