Dear Qorax,

Case processing has slowed down very much at almost all visa offices and specially New Delhi. Why? any reasons?
Do you think it will pick the speed any soon?
(New Delhi VO used to be fastest few months ago, but suddenly slowed down since june 26, 2010)

They are probably inundated with many applicants looking to move out of india. There are otehr offices which were slow to start with so perhaps ND is reaching equilibrium point. But I am saying all this without knowing the workings of CIC or any VOs.

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

The year end - months of Nov & Dec - r particularly bad with any VO, to expect anything. Blame it on the Holiday Season & the CHC Quotas. Things tend to move forward from mid-Jan, always.

Keep your fingers Xed, buddy.

Additionally, I would blame it on GCMS as employees are still learning it besides migrating the information from CAIPS to GCMS. Holiday season is just about to begin in 10 days or so..
