Need to apply TRV if I am now on H1-B in US, but have an work permit in Canada?

Thanks in advance for answering my question.

My situation:
1) I worked in Canada and hold work permit in 2009. The work permit and work visa with multiple entries will NOT expire until Aug, 2010.

2) I am now work full time in US holding H1-B visa.

3) I just got approved for my immigration in Canada. And got the 1-time entry landing visa (until Aug, 2010). 

Now my question:
I need to enter Canada to apply for a US re-entry H1B visa in May 2010.
However, I will NOT be able to land until Aug, 2010.
Can I use the work visa of Canada to enter?
Or should I apply for a new TRV visa or something else?

Because my whole family can only be coming together with me for landing in Aug.
So I would like to come in May for the US visa application alone.

Can I use the work visa of Canada to enter? Yes.
So I can use the work permit/visa to enter Canada even I am currently not work in Canada?
