hi renypaulinj
i can understand your situation and a problem as i too have got the same thought when i applied i was single but got married in the middle of process and though not to infrom them about my stauts but from the forums i came to know that it is illegal to provide false information which may lead to cancelation of the application as well.

my sugession is to update VO with the fact to avoid furthre problems when taking baby with you to canada.

all the best

regards
saleem
