I got accepted to CSQ with the program PEQ and I have apply for the perm. resid. in fed level in Buffalo. I have checked the guide but didn't find information about the documents that have to send with my application.
    1) I have to send a birth certificate and CAN I SEND THE CERTIFIED COPY or it has to be original?
    2) If I send the original birth certificate, will they return it to me?
    3) Another question is that I am temporary worker here in Quebec and my contract will end in January 2012. Can I leave the country after I send my application to Buffalo and wait for the respond outside of Canada or I have to keep working until the process is finished?
    4) Do I have to notarize the certified translation of my supporting documents as:police certificate and birth certificate?
I would highly appreciate your help. Hope to hear from you soon.

"Do not send originals unless otherwise stated. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals." (E37048 visa-office specific instructions)

The only original listed is the CSQ.  I believe police certificates need to be original, too, but the checklist doesn't mention it so you may want to double-check.  In any case, don't send your original birth certificate!
