Need Information!

If we book 1 or 2 week temporary accommodation through internet from our home country before going to Canada, will the below motels charge in advance [through credit card] or they just book & have to pay when we reach there in the hotel?

e.g:- safehomestay, studio6 in toronto.

Hi,

It is better that you call the place where you wish to stay. As a general rule, the hotel won't charge you until you signed in the hotel. They just block your room with a credit card. I am not sure though. They might ask you for some fee because they holded that room for u. Why are u taking these chance. May I ask at what stage your application is. If you already got ur PR and not sure about when to land in Canada, then don't rush through your hotel bookings. You will get it even if you plan your travel couple of days before. So relax.
