I have received visitor visa for 2 years. How could I apply for my open work permit? Do I need to wait for 6 months?  I am moving there with my husband. Can I apply for it at port of entry or immediately after entering the canada?

His visa says worker. His is a intra company transfer from US company division to Canada division.
