Hey,

I have applied for the TRV to Canada on June 30th 2009 in Washington DC. I am married to a Canadian PR, who has recently moved from US to Canada. I am still in US on student visa.

I am in process of gathering documnets to send him for family class sponsorship. In mean while, I have my summer vactions, so want to visit him.

The problem, is the visa officer asked me couple of questions, I was able to answer her all questions. At the end, she kept my passport (Pakistani Citizen) and said I will get it back after 2 weeks. She didnt say that I have been granted visa. Sad

I contacted the embassy on July 16th, they said my application is still in process, but my inquiry about the case will further delay the processing of my application. This means that I should not contact them again. Isn't it rude?

I have to travel next week , but havent heard from embassy yet for last 3 weeks. Someone has advised me to go to embassy in person and inquire. I want to go tomorrow!

Need advice about it, keeping in mind that my inquiry will further dealy the process.

Please help!
