Hi,
I am currently in Canada under study permit.  I have renewed my student visa exactly one year ago.  By that time, I have lived with my gf for 13 months but I declare single during the application.  I have to renew my visa now and I would like to declare "common-law", do you think I will get into trouble as the officer might believe I have commited misrepresentation of information?  Thanks!

andrew,

My suggestion is for you to find an immigration lawyer since there are discrepancies on your documents as you stated. goodluck.
