Hi

My husband and I are planning to apply for Canadian Immigration from Dubai. I'm aware we should be able to handle the application process ourselves by checking a site etc. however since we both are busy with office work and also a baby on the way, planning to go to a Consultant.
I have made enquiries and short-listed the following:
a. Carter Hoppe
b. Aries Intl
c. NAS Intl
Can someone advise who is the best of the lot?

Thanks

i dont know who is the best, but you can perhaps contact the owner of this website i.e. david cohen?

having said that, please note that i am not advertising/promoting any consultant.

good luck with the immigration.

Dear Honeyflower,

I suggest you to apply directly instead of going through consultant.

I have seen so many cases & people are frustrated with these consultants ( *****, sen, premiers, etc.)

I have applied from Dubai directly and waiting for first AOR.

honeyflower,

Please do not use any consultant.  I live in Dubai too and approached some consultants long back.  All they do is fill up the form, which anyone can do by reading all instructions on the canadian official website www.cic.gc.ca.

A friend of mine paid AED 7000 to a consultant and is having a lot of trouble with them.  He said the consultant was really nice during the first meeting and till they got the AED 7000.  Once he paid this money, they changed their behaviour.

I am glad that I did not use a consultant.  Just spend a day or 2 over the weekend and go through the above website, you will see that all forms and instructions to apply are in this site.

You can easily apply yourself.

This is just my opinion to you.   However, if you still decide to use a consultant, I presume some seniors would give you a choice.

All the best !

Hello dear,

The best way is go yourself.. because if you choose a consultant( all of them are same ....),after paying them huge amount of money...they will ask you to arrange all the documents and come.  Everytime you ask them about something, they will charge you money and ask you to arrange documents ....
If all the documents are to be arranged by you, whats the use of having consultant....
As per canadian immigration its very easy...everything is available online and you can check your status yourself.
I got my visa after 4years...and people on this forum helped me a lot.
If you have any query...clear your doubts here...on this forum.

best of luck

Thanks very much for all the responses. Is it really easy to fill up the application ourselves? Will not a good consultant be able to ease the pressure on us especially if we are a burdened couple speding long hours and sometimes even weekends in office?

Anyway, Dear FMA, am an Indian (the info you requested).

Will wait for your responses and advises.

Thanks

Dear Honey

As Others I also suggest you to do it by urself again as i mentioned earlier u have ur own issues so I had so u choose good consultant. I paid them 45000 and got job done they filled the form and sent me i checked and they submitted. but one thing u have to do shoulder to should work with them to complete the process.

At present they are charing 60,000 INR and my cousin started process with them if u want i will give u their name but it will be ur sole responsibility to check the facts as im not promoting them but only helping people who dont have time. remeber im not commission agent it is  just to help forum members.

I found them good and got job done, again i have not taken there full services all documents sent by my name only. hope it is clear to u wishing u all the  best and hope u till take the best decision after discussing with other member and take ur own decision.

All The best

i also would like to suugest to u apply urself not on behalf of consultants. Everything is here on this forum and seniors are ready every time to help others. if u hire consultant i think it is the wastage of money.

Dear FMA..Am located in Dubai and will be applying from here. The consultant over here is charging around 4000 USD for the full process (excluding visa and medical charges).
Really expensive, isn't it?
Am tempted to do it on my own after reading everyones' posst here.
Will be booking a slot for IELTS tomorrow; the date is Sep last week.

There are good and bad consultants. I do not say all are bad. But to be on the safer side when u use the services of a consultant say from Gulf states it is not the person who has briefed u abt the whole process who is ur consultant. He is just a PRO. Mostly all ur papers go to Canada where these consultancy firms have their head office. Usually ur docs move from there to ur Visa office.
As a candidate u need to ask who ur consultant is his name , registration number with CSIC.
Time and again u should check whether this consultant is still active and not revoked.

You can check it on this Link: https://www.csic-scci.ca/find/revoked.html
Again this is not at all a complicated issue. You can do on ur own . But still if u retain a consultant check his background before it is too late and ur hard earned money is gone with the wind.

Regards,
Shibuya
