Hi,

I've booked flights to US, setting out on Sept.16th and coming back on Sept.18th. My visa will get expire on Sept.15th but work permit not which expires on Sept.20. I already submit my application of visa extension online. Can I reenter Canada under this condition? Thanks!

Nope you can't.  You cannot re-enter Canada without a valid visa, work permit is not a travel document.  Best to cancel your trip.

As long as you are going to the US or St. Pierre et Miquelon, you would be re-admitted to Canada to the date of the expiry of your work permit.  I.E. Sept. 20

You can either believe Lovely or what CIC says.  From the Immigration Regulations

Division 5
Temporary Resident Visa Exemptions
Visa exemption — nationality

190. (1) A foreign national is exempt from the requirement to obtain a temporary resident visa if they.........

(f) to re-enter Canada following a visit solely to the United States or St. Pierre and Miquelon, if they

(i) held a study permit or a work permit that was issued before they left Canada on such a visit or were authorized to enter and remain in Canada as a temporary resident, and

(ii) return to Canada by the end of the period initially authorized for their stay or any extension to it;
