Hi all.. I kindly request your guidance here - it is regarding my sister's immigration application from India as Skilled Worker- she applied in April'04 & regularly kept an eye on the online status which showed 'in-process'. Suddenly in April'09 we saw her online status changed to 'decision made' & when she contacted CIC they said her file was closed as they didn't received document updates, for which they claim they had sent a letter to her in Sept'08 - which she never received! Since April'09 we are trying to convince them that she never received any letters, thus no documents were sent, but they insist the file is closed, it cannot be reopened! I (authorized on their file) persued my MP's office (in Burnaby) & they requested CIC too to reopen the file, but that was declined too! - I request your valued guidance to suggest what can we do now, asides hiring a lawyer - as that will be an affordibility concern for us. she is a Secondary School Teacher, with over 15 years of experience & her husband is a Sales Manager with a Printing organization. Can either/both of them qualify for the PNP option? Can 'arranged employment' be done for them?? Please advice!

Hi,

PNP is always an option. Keep searching the job banks and apply for jobs that match your skills and education. It's not easy but if you can find an employer that is willing to provide you an offer of permanent employment you can go through the PNP program of that province.
You don't need a lawyer, maybe a qualified immigration consultant to double check your application before you send it out.

Good luck.
