I'm planning to apply to Canada under the H1-B pilot program, but I haven't stamped the recent H1-B renewal on my passport and earlier visa stamping has expired . My Question is do I need to get my H1-B stamped on my passport to apply or can I provide the approved renewal document (i-797) as a proof of extension of my H1-B ?

Please help.
