Hi all

Could some of you tell me how long did it take to receive the CAIPS after you sent the request?  I have sent my request on Sept 15, 2008, and they haven't deposited the check yet.  I was under the impression that under Information Act they have 30 days to respond to any request they receive. 

It has been a real drag for everything related to Canadian government authorities that I had to deal with.

Please post your time lines for CAIPS notes.

I can't remember how long it took to deposit the cheque, but I know I had the papers in hand within six weeks. I would follow up with them - I believe there is phone number somewhere...

I tried to look up the phone number for them, could not find one.  Do you have phone number for them?

I sent my application on 29 August for CAIPS, cheque was cashed on 11 September and I received the notes on 10th October.

Finally they deposited the check for $5 for CAIPS notes request today.  Hopefully will receive the report in next couple of weeks.
