me and my partner lives together with our newly born baby...they are both british. am the only one that will be filling out forms.

will that be enough tie as have got a baby and partner in uk.

Also, can i use her documents as back-up proof that i will be returning to uk because she earn good salary than me.

if u apply alone still immigration will thing once u land your wife and baby can follow u at any time this will be negative,if u have good job any properties & other family members like parents, brother may be it will help.try single entry with short term with valid reason for visiting canada.

Can I possibly apply for tourist visa without booking for hotel and flight before going to embassy? Every other documents are ready but just thinking of getting the visa before booking for da hotel and flight. Is it workable
