I received my medical exam notice In November 2010, I took the medical exam and provided all doc(including original passport) to CIC in China. Recently I was shocked when I noticed the visa issuing suspected of New Brunswick  PNP applicants due to an internal audit on the program. Recently more rumors was spread about the NB PNP. Who can answer the questions as below:
1、What is happened in NB Gov. about PNP?
2、when will it be closed, and release the holding?
For the PNP program, i have closed some business opportunities in China.
Who can answer the timeline of the visa issuing suspected. May I need to rearrange my children's elementary school plan and my biz plan.

Hi steven76,  I'm quite confused with your statement.  Do you mean "suspended" when you say "suspected"?

Do you have any further info with regards to the "internal audit" issue that you mentioned?

yes, my visa was suspended in CIC.
i only get few information from NB immigration office about internal audit, replied mail is as below:
"Following a February 2011 release of an audit by the Auditor General of the Province of New Brunswick on the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) a decision was made by the NBPNP to conduct a comprehensive review of the program.  As such, Citizenship and Immigration Canada's visa offices in Hong Kong and Beijing have been asked to hold applications destined for New Brunswick, until further notice. Applicants are being advised to expect delays in having their applications processed. "

many thanks for your reply. Smiley

Sorry for that bad news... Are you under Business Applicant category?

Why not email NB-PNP office maybe they could answer your question as to when the visa issuing for NB-PNP in CIC China will resume.

I hope the same advisory is not effective in CIC Singapore.
