Hi,

I have applied for COOK/Chef positions in Jobbank website, i received few responses from interested employer. My experience as a COOK and Chef is already over 15 years from many 5 star hotels in Philippines and Middle EAst but i am only highscool gradute. Meaning i only completed 10 years schooling in the Phillippines. Will this affect my application for TWP? Or the consulate officer can consider my many years of work experience a this is more important to the job i am applying for. Employer only require completion of secondary education.

I just want to check with you guys or anyone who can help me clear my worries. Pls., i would appreciate any advise regarding this. Thank you...

Happy new year! God bless....

Secondary education in Canada is 12 years so the equivalent in the Philippines is completion of the 10 years secondary education and another 2 years of college education. I am just not aware if incomplete educational requirement can be compensated by years of experience.

Thank you jobseeker for your response.  Smiley

I really hope and pray my long year of years of experience can be considered.
