Recently I have registered with this forum and I felt it serves in a tremendous way for knowing the latest trends, updates regarding the Canadian immigration and answering the related queries.
I am a B.E Computer Engineer in India, having 20 years of experience in the Hardware and Networking field. Now I am planning to apply for Canadian Immigration under Federal Skilled Professional category. My nature of job comes under NOC 2147.
In the eligibility assessment test currently I am scoring only 65 out of the pass mark 67. To facilitate me to get the additional few marks, one of my close friend (who is now became a Canadian citizen working as a Reliability Engineer in a leading company in Toronto) is ready to give a letter for supporting me up to the period of getting a suitable job in Canada.
He is encouraging me to apply for the immigration in FSW category and for clarity I have reproduced his words of assurance here “For that I will send an invitation letter saying I will take care of you till you settle here which give 5 or 10 points. For your skill set easy to get more than 60 points on your own”.
Now I would like to clarify a most important thing about my status.
Right now I am not having any Arranged Employment job offer and also I am not in a position to show the proof of funds either.
In this situation I would like to get you peoples help to clarify the followings:
1. Whether really any weightage will be given by the CIC authorities in the eligibility evaluation under the factor
adaptability for the above said assurance letter of my friend for reaching the qualifying marks or not?
2. In-case if so, is it enough to overcome the shortage of 2 marks for reaching the pass mark of 67?
3. Then, in addition of the above advantage is there any chance for claiming/getting an exemption from showing the
fund by highlighting the support of my Canadian friend?
4. Alternatively is there any way for getting or claiming exemption for showing the fund except the Arranged
Employment option?
Kindly answer the above questions clearly - especially for the 3rd & 4th; since it is a determining factor for me in applying the Canadian immigration.

No. Adaptability points r only offerred for certain 'relatives' residing in Canada.2. In-case if so, is it enough to overcome the shortage of 2 marks for reaching the pass mark of 67?
