Greetings to all! I am a newbie here.

I would like to seek an advise regarding passport validity to travel to Canada.

We recently received our immigrant visa from Canada and my family and I are due to come to Canada by 1st week of July, 2011. However, were a little bit worried about my husband's passport validity. His passport (with Canada Immigrant Visa stamped on it) will expire on October 12,2011 which means that it is still 3 months valid from the date of our travel. We are coming from Dubai, UAE and I am wondering if there would be a problem for my husband to travel to Canada with his passport still valid 3 months from the date of our travel. Our fear is that the immigration in Canada will not accept the passport once we arrived there....

Appreciate your help/advise.

No need to worry.  Your husband can travel to Canada.
