I am appyling to visit my wife for 3 weeks using my leave period. I earn 250, 000 naira monthly and i have over 3 million naira saved up in my account. My wife is a maters degree student who work in a bank in canada. I am worried that the visa application my be rejected since i am applying from nigeria. I do not intend to over stay my 3weeks leave as i need to resume work. Pls advise if i have any chance of getting a trv  because i really need to see my wife for just 3 weeks.  I intend to enclose air ticket showing that i am coming back after 3 weeks. Pls advice me since i am very much confused.  Kingsley.

Build your application showing all your ties in Nigeria and why you would return including family obligations, elderly parents etc., show real estate or a lease contract for where you live if you can and also a letter from your employer stating your position, how long you have worked there and how you are getting a vacation for 3 weeks only and are scheduled to return on such and such date.  Also include the proof of funds for your trip.  Then cross your fingers and hope for the best.

Agree with Leon! =)
Show all your ties to your home country, even if it doesnt ask for a particular document, if you think it might help your case - include it!
The more information - the better!

=) Goodluck!!
