need advise for MPNP application

hi guys,

Im planning to apply for Manitoba PNP. I am now in the process of collecting the required documents. but my previous company would only provide a basic employment certificate with start and end date of employment and position, without duties and responsibilities..is that enough or i really need to submit an employment certificate with duties and responsibilities?

If i can provide a certification from the University and from my current employer here in UAE that English is the medium of communication..do i still need to take IELTS?

Hi. Are you applying under general stream or family stream? For family stream you may not take the IELTS provided your education is in English or French, but you must submit certificates that your education (secondary and post-secondary) in in English or French. You may still take it if you want to. For general stream I believe it is a requirement. Regarding employment certificates, it would be better to have one that outlines your duties and responsibilities. If your previous company will allow it, with their consent, you can make a certificate of employment which includes your duties and responsibilities, and have the responsible person sign it. I believe the duties and responsibilities is very important. Hope this helps! Good luck!

yes even if it is the medium of communication in your school or work, if it is not your first language, or native language, you are still required to take IELTS..just like in the Philippines, even if English is used in schools and workplace, IELTS is required in some instances

i submitted my certificate of employment(COE) with only the start-end date of employment, and my position in it..and it was accepted...make sure there are contact details in it

IELTS is NOT a strict requirement under family stream, whether you are applying by mail or online. Many applicants from the Phils. under family stream, including myself, have been nominated by Manitoba WITHOUT an IELTS score. However, for General stream, I believe it is a requirement.
