hi to all of you guys...  i am from manila philippines... anyone here applied for temporary work permit and permanent residence visas simultaneusly?  I have applied for these visas last April 2011...  Yesterday i have received an email from the embassy requiring me to send my passports for visa stamping because my permanent residence visa application has been approved...  But i haven't received my temporary work permit yet...  does this mean that my application for temporary work permit is already 'void'?  my medicals has been sent to the embassy last July 6 and until then i haven't received my temporary visa...  can someone give me advice on what to do on this matter... thank you very much for your help...

I have applied, but  my temp work visa was approved before my PR visa.
BTW, You shouldn't be arrived on receipt of your passport with PR visa on them, just send an email to embassy that your PR application was successful and you would like to withdraw you temp work permit app. they will do it, you may not get refund for fee.

Who needs temp when you have permanent?

Go collect your permanent visa then withdraw the temp visa application. Cool
