Hi,

I am on my PGWP till 2014 and i just got married in Jan 2012 back in my country. I wanted her to come and stay with me in Canada.

What is best option to get her here?

Can i sponsor her or she needs to come on tourist visa.

Thanks and waiting for advice.

Hi,

1. You can't sponsor her because you are not a citizen/PR of Canada.
2. She need a TRV to enter Canada. She must be able to satisfy an immigration officer of her ties such as a job, home and family etc that she will leave Canada at the end of her visit.

Thanks,

But can't she live with me, as an dependent. s there nothing like dependent visa or something.

Or the only option for her is a visitor visa?

Yes, she should be able to apply as your spouse. The best thing is to write an email to your CIC office and asked them for your required information.

No, she can apply for a TRV, there is no dependent visa for Non PRs/Canadian citizens.
