I am staying in the US at this moment. I got a charge of driving 30 miles more than the speed limit. Was it considered as a criminal?

VERY URGENT. Please help and I am very appreciative for that.

If you have not done any  jail time for that then you should not have any problems because you would not have any criminal records.  But reconfirm this with the experts in this forum.

Thank you, Roger55. Can anyone have a better idea? It appeared on my FBI record. However, the record just indicates the incident, but not mentioning any detail of the charge.

You need to explain the context of your question....

How will this effect my status in Canada? or the USA?

That's what I want to learn about. I mean for my application to Canada.

Speeding in most countries is not considered criminal.

Reckless driving is also generally not criminal as well.
But, if it is considered a criminal conviction in the USA then it would have to equate to a criminal offence in Canada.
Maybe, Dangerous driving...depending on the elements of the offence.
