hello,
i am an international student in canada and currently doing mba. i want to aplly for skill immigration catagory 3. as i have been in canada for more then one yr and i have more then 1 yr work exparience before come here. in my work exparience certificate duration of work is 01/07/2007 to 01/20/2008. as u can see i start work with a finance firm after completing my internship which finish on 30/07/2007 and i join the same compnay after complete the intern as an accountant. problem is that in my transcript it is written the degree was awarded on dec 2007 because my faculty publish my internship grade six months later after i submit the report because he was out of the country. i already have the experience certificate and i notarized it from the local advocate in Dhaka.
my question is will the cic officer might not accept my work experience certificate because i am showing that i start work from july but in the transcript it is written the degree was awarded on December?
or
the work experience will be count after the degree was awarded.
i get the job because i full fill all the degree requirement except my internship grade which was publish later.....
i will be grateful if PMM or any senior members can give me some advice.....
sincerely,mrs987.

Write a letter of explanation and hope for the best. I would think they'd take it under consideration.

You should be ok. It is a normal practise to find a job even before the award is made ie your result is declared after submission of your dissertation/thesis. The date of graduation ie the award of degree can depend on many things. At times some uni have two graduation ceremonies and some have only one in a year. So do not worry it is ok.
