need a bit of help

hi,

does somebody know if alberta recognize my german hairdresser diploma. i went for 3 years to tradeschool and have over 6 years work experience. is this good enough or do i have to do all the examination again?

I know many hairdressers in Toronto who don't even have any sort of diploma, self taught.  I don't believe it's a requirement in Canada to even have one in order to work in a salon.
