@  Lovely- are u under the LCP program? It seems that the processing of ur application is faster. Thanks

Nope I'm not.  I'm a landed immigrant under the point system (Federal Skilled Worker) in 2001.  The processing time under my signature is my husband's.  He had a work permit when I met him and we applied In-Canada under the Spousal sponsorship program.

As Visita said, they have a new company doing NBI clearances and the old prints were not transferred to the new company hence they require the blue forms.  For the money order, most banks can issue the money order for you and Canada Post too!

Okay, got my money order from TD for 200PHP, and asked a favor from a relative to get for me a form from the phil consulate Vancouver. This process has been the most time consuming one, let alone the extra fees.

According to the Phil Consulate website in Vancouver, the forms are currently out of stock.  You can request the form to be mailed to you once its available.  You need to send a self-addressed stamped envelope along with a letter of request.

Another option for you is to have your relative back home to get the Blue Form for you then your relative will send it to you here in Canada. I guess you should provide a request letter that your relative will present to NBI office in your behalf..

When did you do it? The new measures/procedure or whatever you call was implemented last July/August.

@ bitoyzz: that's what I did too.. Last may, I just asked my mom to renew my NBI, I sent her my old nbi and a 2x2 picture...I already asked that here in the forum and I think it was lovely who replied that as long as it's not expired then it's fine.... And oh, the quality of my picture in the NBI is bad... So 1 day I went to Cic downtown here in Edmonton and showed my NBI if it's acceptable, and the agent just told me that it's fine... So I am keeping this one.
