You have to strictly follow your Visa Office (Manila) document check list.

NBI Clearance will do.

I heard that it takes longer now to process the NBI Clearance since the NBI change their system. FYI.

Yes you do need the NBI clearance, so I suggest you get another copy that states for immigration purposes.

yes you need to submit your NBI which actually a traumatizing experience for me. Before they have a satellite office in Parksquare and Megamall ngayon wala na imagine the dismay I felt spending for taxi and from Megamall I walked going to Galleria under the scorching sun and again they said they ran out of numbers. So I went to Mandaluyong City hall they advised me come back the next day so I did and they told me they only serve 300 applicant's and all slots are already full. So I was advised to come back at 12 midnight because they release forms from 12mn-4am. I went to Mandaluyong City Hall around 11pm and waited and waited they started giving forms at 7:30am imagine that I really spent almost 8 hours just to get a damn form and then of course I had to process it that day too so another 4 hours only to find out that I have a hit in my name and they will release it in 2 weeks. By the way they don't consider renewals anymore all will start from scratch since they are using bio metrics now. If u want u can go to Galleria u have to be there around 6am that's the time they release the forms and they open at 8:30 they are located at the east lane Robinson's Galleria.

Yes, NBI is acceptable than Police Clearance in the Philippines. NBI's background check is nationawide while Philippine police clearnace may only be good on the city you are living and CIC knows that.

Goodluck!
