As most from South Asia origin, we know we have multiplicity of languages like hindi, urdu, tamil, telugu and so on. However, most of us are more familiar with the English language than our own native language.

In this case, is it better to mention that our native language is English on the immigration document or the local language ??

Can anyone advise, what you guys are opting for Huh

Best Regards

"A first language (also mother tongue, native language, arterial language, or L1) is the language a human being learns from birth."

If you fall in this category I guess you can mention that your native language is English ..
