Hello there

Not many people I see from Chennai in some of the discussion boards that I have been visiting, but I am sure there are quite a few. Calling all from namma ooru to connect here, since we have more than just our immigration application & status to share - molaga pudi, sambar, puliodharai et al, not to mention the vibrant Tamizh culture!!

Look forward to catching up with y'all before and of course, after we reach!!

Yellam oru unarchi daan!!

To be honest, I was bored sitting at work between all the gazillion meetings that people put into my calendar, and of course the exhausting wait to get to hear about your application status got me thinking that apart from raving and ranting in a discussion forum, it would be nice to catch up once in a while at a coffee shop or some place to rave & rant in person with other ravers and ranters (read: other people waiting for status of their application), not to mention any bright ideas you can give to future applicants as well.

Noble thought, eh?  Grin

Doesn't matter if you are not from Chennai. I started the thread out of a quirk (read my response to Pradeep) and it would be nice to see how many people actually reply.

Yellorum oru periya O podunga...

I got a decision made today in my eCAS and I am eagerly waiting to speak with my consultant to get an update.

Here's to all my fellow madrasi's getting their Visa's stamped very very quickly so that we can spread the aroma of a good sambhar and the taste of a great khushbu idli to Canada!!
