My partner paid and printed out the receipt. He puts in his name and information. We are unsure if he fills in my client ID ( from my previous study visa) and his date of birth on the receipt???

The one who is sponsoring should put his/her client ID # on the receipt and date of birth.

My partner is the sponsor and I am the applicant. He as my sponsor paid for all the fees with his credit card. So does he leave the client ID box blank. But I have a client ID issued when I applied for a student visa. So I was wondering if he should put my client ID in the box. Rouge, if you had dealt with Immigration Canada for any kind of visa or permit in the past, you will be issued one. Otherwise just leave it blank.

Your husband is your sponsor and he should put his client id # on the receipt. He is sponsoring you under family class for PR so your client id will be different this time.
