Hi,

About nine years ago I moved to Canada with my 10 month old daughter. There, we got our papers in order (my mom was a resident there already), I got into a common law relationship and then we had a son.

Shortly after, I got married and tried to help my husband get his documents.

Unfortunately, it was kind of late for him and we decided to leave together.

I now regret the decision of doing so. I know my son (and my daughter) would be better off living in his own country than living abroad.

I would like to take him back to Canada and don't know if there is anything that we can legally do to make this happen.

If anyone has suggestions, I will greatly appreciate your help.

Thanks.

it would appear that you and your daughters permanent residence status is long gone.  So there is really nothing you can do, except re-apply as a skilled worker.  Your can (when he is older) can enter Canada at any time.
