ok, so you submitted your application to Mississauga. The decision made was your assessment as a sponsor, it means you are approved to sponsor your spouse. It will be sent to Colombo, Sri Lanka to be processed. The current processing time according to the CIC website for Colombo is 18 months, so yeah it will be a long wait for you guys.
