My Immigration case with the latest NOC Changes

Dear All,
   Since the NOC has changed and I am having a hard time deciding if i am applicable to apply for the immigration and also make the process faster. Kindly find below my information and think with me about my case if it can pass through,

1- University graduate, IT trade certification,
2- Speak English language with 16 marks in the test as per ielts marks.
3- I work as a senior technical consultant with 4 years of experience.
4- I do not have any relatives in Canada.
5- I am 25 years old.

I am not sure if as per the above information it will be easy for me in the immigration process and what changes could possibly make this process faster.

No IT roles are currently on the list (IT managers used to be on the old list prior to June 26th).

So you are not eligible for FSW Category 1 with IT skills.

You may be able to get in on provicial nomination if any individual province requires those skills (doubtful though), otherwise your only option is to get a job first before applying for residency.

In order to do this your prospective employer either has to secure an LMO (labour market option) by proving that they have been unsuccessful getting a Canadian in the role, and then you can apply for a temporary work permit. Or the employer can apply for an Arranged Employment Option if they are prepared to wait for up to 1 year for your application to go through.

Either way it's pretty tough to get into Canada with IT skills at the moment!
I know, I am a software developer and can't apply for FSW1, luckily my wife is industrial pharmacist so we are now hopefully eligible for FSW1, but plenty can go wrong yet!

 and the only other option is enter canada as astudent do some diploma courses... and then go for work permit then u can apply for pr.. oprelse wait for 1-2 yrs probably nocs will change again.. might be getting an opportunity to  g to canada....... thats the onyl options left right nowwwww

Do you have a Canadian girlfriend?  If you are thinking of marrying just for PR, it would be hard for you to prove your relationship to immigration.  It is even hard for many real couples to do that.

If you do have a Canadian girlfriend and you get married, she would need to sponsor you for residency.  In most cases it takes less than a year to get it through.  As a PR, you have to live in Canada for 3 years before you can apply for citizenship.

Well, No i am thinking to get a long term marriage. not only for the sake of immigration.

So as you said it will take me about 1 year to get the residency and 3 years to get the nationality,.

The processing time for residency is based on what visa office you are applying through which depends on where you live or where you are from.  You can see processing times at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/05-fc-spouses.asp  Add 4 to 6 weeks in the beginning for Mississauga to approve your wife as a sponsor before your visa office gets your case.

After you get your PR, you have to live in Canada for 1095 days (3 years) to apply for citizenship and processing time for citizenship is about a year so you might be looking at 5 years from the sponsorship application to citizenship.
