you'll get:

Listening   2

Writing     2
Speaking  2
Reading    2

Total 8 points.

The above will depend largely on what you are looking for to make up to 67 points. If the 8 points will take you to the promise land i.e 67 you are good to fly.

Goodluck!

I recommend go for another shot. If just taking the exam without preparation got you 6.0 band, preparing well will definitely better your score...They will accept 6.0 as band score (given that your total pts is 67+), but scoring 6.5 or above would definitely move it in your favor as far as english proficiency is concerned. They are very concerned about immigrants being good in either of the language.

Hi all,

The person having 6 band get 12 points also or 8 points also......This is how the game of IELTS is going in Canada Immigration.

For example a person get score as follows:-

Listening - 5.50
Writing   - 5.50
Speaking - 6.50
Reading -   6.50

Here the total points will be 12 points.

At the same time, another person gets the score  @  6 band in all , which will score him 8 points.

Regards
Cool
