My husband recieved call today from CIC

my husband recievd call today from CIC told him to attend the cic .. with vailde passport and orginol copy of other  certifcate like birth certifcate.. last interview he had was on SEP 18 2007 ..  .. I did contact the CIC .. just one houre ago .. asked is that the visa ?? she did not answer me .. all she said ,, that he has to bring these documents ? what is that mean please any one help me ???

Sounds like they have some questions about the birth certificate.

Hi. I suggest that you try and not let yourself be too easily discouraged about this.  Perhaps the copy of the birth certificate was not a good one.  The CIC instructions require good copies.  Also, they did ask your partner to bring his passport and this is something they require just prior to issuing the PR Visa.  I'm not at all surprised that the IO wouldn't give you more information.  It is probably in their operational directives not to do so.
