Hi

I'm Greek Canadian, I live to Greece the last 6 years but I want to move back to Canada (Montreal) with my spouse who is Albanian. Anybody who can tell me what to do? I communicated with Canadian embassy here in Greece but I got comfused.

1.  AS you are a Canadian you can sponsor your spouse overseas, but you must include a declaration to the effect that once your spouse is issued a visa you will return to Canada.  It should also include what you intend to do as to accommodation and work.
2.  You complete the application to sponsor http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/applications/fc.html  your spouse completes the Immigration application, gets his police certificates  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/police-cert/index.html  has the medical by a Designated Medical practioner http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx
3.  When you have all the information required, you send it all with a copy of the medical receipt to Mississauga Ont.
4.  If you are approved as a sponsor, you will get a letter in about 38 days and Mississauga will forward the application to Rome, who will process your spouses application, taking between 3 & 9 months http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/times-int/05-fc-spouses.html#europe  if the application is completed correctly and an interview is not required.
