I received an email from Buffalo and my file was transferred to local visa office in Los Angeles. This gives hope.
Submitted complete application to Buffalo on July 2009.
Just letting you know to give you guys hope as well.

SkilledPro, congrats, at least you saw some movement with your case. What are your timelines, i.e. when exactly was your application received by Buffalo? Also, which is your NOC and what FSW category did you apply for (1, 2, 3)?

My file also was transfered to LA from Buffalo on Feb 16, 2010. Initial AOR from Buffalo was May 1, 2010. I received Medical Request on Mar 22, 2010.
Did other already receive Medical as well? I heard someone whose file being processed in Buffalo was not only asked for Medical but also RPRF. How about you guys?
Also, if we got Medical, does it means very little chance to be called for an interview?
Let's keep this thread going so we can update each other.

Hi all,
I have been nominated by the province for PR.
I have sent the application to buffalo on Nov 2009.
I recieved the initial response from buffalo office on Mar 10 2010, that my file has been transfered to Los Angeles.
The email says "This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
In order to expedite the processing of your application, your file has been sent to:.....We transferred your application to the Los Angeles office on March 10, 2010. The Los Angeles office may contact you."
Is there anyone who knows the time frame of next set of process and what is the next step that I should anticipate from Los Angeles office? I am bit concerned..
Please friends, share your experience.
