Hello I ordered CAIPS 45 days ago and the result is a 12 pages report which i couldnt find any valuable information on it but the strange point is that in every page it says: pAPER FILE SENT TO PA FILE BF'D TO: PPS ON 2O-12-2O1O and all point except age are still 0,,, means they havenot done any thing with my file yet 20-12-2010 is exactly 9 months after i sent my complete application to the CHC Damascus why do you think the BFD hasnt been updated yet,,, so when will be my next bring forward date  |

your background checks are still to be done. 0213's are not required until the end of 2012. enough of the IT guys in Canada with no or very few jobs. More IT guys in Canada means a havoc to their own IT guys. They'd starve to death. the trend is indicating that VO's are not doing anything with 0213's until further government notice from Canada. I am stuck, I have been told to wait for two years; till December 2012.

I sent a case specific inquiry and they replied,
" we wont add anything to your file if there is no marriage, address of changes are reported. currently the quota is full for your NOC and you might need to wait for 2 years. We will contact you, wait to hear from us"

Do you think they would ask you to do your IELTS again in 1.5 yr from now? I am a 2007/Jan in Taiwan and wondering if they would ask me to update my ielts again in the future.

no, they will NOT ask for IELTS again, they would most likely to ask for a renewed PCC. I have seen CIC did this for many other applicants. sometimes they don't ; its arbitrary.
IELTS would be invalid/unusable if it was on our hand. Our IELTS results have been transfered to CIC well before 2 yrs and its CIC which has been delaying our case, not us.

its probably a curse that we are IT professionals and we applied at a time when Canada already injected lots of IT guys who applied 6-10 months before than we did. recent data showed that migrants are not contributing to Canadian economy as previously thought. CIC is more skeptical now on its job market needs. who knows Canada's economy could grow at a more faster rate and more IT people would be needed; resulting in our call !
