My application was received by CIC on Sept 28,2010 and I still did not get a response from CIC.Any one who sent doc to CIC on Sept 28,2010 or later who got response please update me.

Hi, you need to wait some more time, hope in a month of time or less, you will get your AOR.

As far as i know there is no AOR thing. Post 26 june applicant's get their PER which takes around 4-months time. Grin

So, what the CIC issue to you?

ofcourse first AOR file number will there issue by CIC NS , how can your local CHC will recognized your case approved or not by CIC?

did you know that your DD or Credit card charged for your visa fees?
if yes then you will sure get first AOR soon..
please contact your bank to know DD or credit card charged or not by CIC NS. thats the best way to know your case is approved by CIC and CIC will issue you 1st AOR soon. CIC will inform you or your lawyer (if you hired representitive by email or mail/post).

Dear OMM;
Are you telling me you have received first AOR ?When was your application reached to CIC office?That will help me when to expect my AOR even if we live in different parts of the world.
Any ways ,thank you very much for the info.I will check weather  the payment has charged or not.Nice idea.

me in old NOC, I sent in month of december 2009 and get AOR after 18 days of encashed of my DD, I called my bank and confirm that payment already made, then I got 1st AOR, after sending full docs get 2nd AOR within 3months its too late because now buffalo CHC too slow...
