in july of 2006 my application was done under NOC 1232-banker. I received a letter in jan 2009 asking for an updated application which i did quoting the same NOC number (1232)
last week; 09th march 2011 i received a refusal letter stating that i was assess under NOC 7411-TRUCK DRIVER and i do do not have the revelant experience... naturally, since i did not apply under NOC 7411.
can someone help me to understand how this is possible and what i can do about it.
i know the decision is final, however i am Contemplating  getting a lawyer in canada to represent me since the decision that was arrived at was based on a flaw.

Contact your Visa Office Immediately.  Send an email directed to the Programme Manager.  Explain the issue and request that the error be corrected.  Getting a lawyer involved is going to cost you a lot and it is their mistake.  Somewhat similar problems have been encountered amongst those applying after June 26, 2010 and they had success by immediately contacting the authorities.  Best of Luck and let us know how you get on.

eworth,
Am sorry to hear about your refusal but the Noc for Bankers is 0122 and not 1233,pls endeavour to check properly. We applied as Bankers in 2004 and the Noc 0122 still remains and was quoted in the update request.

pls check and revert.
