I applied as a skilled worker on October 2008 (before the new instructions is published and after the 27 Feb 2008)
i filled out the application from with than 3 but less than 4 years of job experience on NOCs: 2171,2172 , 2173
and in the new instruction, ONLY the NOCs of 0213 is elligble for processing and the others will be returned and they will get their money back,
now i found some link that says the NOCs that i used MAY be elligble for processing,
here is the link:

http://www.canadavisa.com/new-instructions-federal-skilled-worker-applications.html
you can check the "0213 Computer and Information Systems Managers"
click on it and it is clearly written in there,

I need to know what does that MAY mean?? and
what is my application status?? And
when they are going to respond me??

It means that someone who has those NOCs like 2171 or 2172 may also have management experience and hence could qualify for on 0213. Unfortunately, 2171, 2172 does not qualify for FSW 1.

As for your application status, have you gotten an AOR yet?

Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon
