 @ naviii
If you see the dates of nasj, in the last post, his application was received at CIO on 11 Sep. and reviewed on 27 Oct.. and returned to him on 28 Oct.. It means that application was reviewed after 57 days... ( 2 months).
Now you can imagine the processing dates of your application.
2. What was your mode of payment?? DD, Credit Card or Money order?Huh?

Hi Nasj,

My application reached there in 1st September 2009, but I haven't received an email reponse yet. I don't know why. My application also has some mistakes in it.

Dear naviii

Can you check, whether the money has been transferred from your account or not yet???
If the money has been transferred from your account to Receiver General for Canada, then most likely your application is going for further processing.
It means that it has passed through the initial stage,

Hello hellovn:

My suggestion to is to keep your eyes on your Mail. as of this time if you did not got your AOR, most properly they sent the package back to you.
From my experience the letter they enclose it with my file they show that they will not tolerate any small mistake.

hi fellows!

I recently sent my application to Sydney and left the section "trade school' blank. Do you think from your experience or knowledge that they would send my application back because of it?

If this is the only blank column, then don't worry at all. Your forms will not be send back to you just for this. I hope you have completed the primary, High school and college/university section.. When they will see your academic qualification it will be corresponding to your years of formal education.
Wish you best of LUCK

If the CIO Sidney has encashed my DD, that means it won't be rejected?

It means that your application has crossed the FIRST hurdle. It has passed through the first stage.

Hi Eveveryone,
I send my application on 9th October and received by them on 15th October. I checked photocopies of my documents and found following mistakes
1. the sex column of my husband, daughter and son is left blannk in form IM0008 while below relationship with them is correctly entered.
2. I put India in the visa office selected column intead of New Delhi, India
3. I put dt of birth of my daughter 30.10.2001 intead of 30.03.2001. while in others it is correctly put.

Now please suggest should i give them correct form with a clarification letter.
