Passport Req..: Feb 23, 2012 (New Delhi recieved it March 24, 2012)
VISA ISSUED...: May 7, 2012

It takes about 24 days for them to email you back, if that helps... and if you go on their website, they tell you which info to put in your email so they can identify you and your case.

Hi,

Your case is somewhat similar to mine. I filed my application in July, it was sent to Delhi office in Sept. They asked for my pp in November. Since then no response. website still shows application received. I will wait for another 4 weeks and then contact them directly.
Hope you get your visa soon.

There is no point in contacting them before 6 months (from approval)
it will be a waste of your time and cause uneccessary expectations
