Hi grethy!
Nice to know some people here who are also in the early stages of their application.

I am also sending my additional & revised forms to my tita tomorrow.  Hopefully, she'll be able to send our application to the immigration in Canada by next week, or the week after that.

I also didn't take up IELTS since my school issues certificates pertaining to English as a medium of Instruction. I'm not sure about this. But I think so...

Hi Em-Em...same here we'll be sending again our remaining documents to our Tita tomorrow...hoping she can submit it next week in time of her vacation leave...i hope they will also consider certificates from the school and employer coz IELTS is quite expensive..

Missing Doc rec'd  03/04/2010 - actually dated 01/07/2010, but with wrong address so comes in a bit late.
Sent missing doc   04/??/2010 - my aunts birth cert, she's the one who signed my support
Rec'd LOA            05/22/2010 - dated 04/30/2010
Submitted to CEM  06/06/2010

IELTS - in my case I did not.  The link below stated "For an objective assessment of your English skills take an IELTS test (International English Language Testing System) and submit your score with your application."

I think it depends on the assessor of your application and the documents that you will submit.  If you think that you could back up your english skills, beside the school certificate.  I think that will be great!  Just keep on praying, coz He answer prayers!

 My timeline:
January 2009 - We submitted our MPNP application package through a friend in Manitoba, but we believe it was filed April 2009.

May 2009 - Received a letter that our application package has been received, with file number.

May 4,  2010 - Letter of Approval was received but it was dated last March 30, 2010.

June 18,2010 - Application was sent to CEM personally through their dropbox together with processing fee and RPRF.

 Yes, Im here in the Phil., I'm  currently practicing my profession here. How about you?

Pls House i would like to know how long it takes the Canadian Embassy in Ghana to reply when a doc. is sent to them i got my LOA and have sent the docs to CEM
please someone should help me.

help, we have submitted at CEM last june 18, 2010, just now june 24, 2010 i got a letter from CEM they returned my 2 managers check stating that the fee we have remitted was incorrect.
 
Processing fee is $550 x2 is P48400 bec. the currency last june 18 was 43.99 so i rounded it off to 44, does this mean that i should sent only exact amount? please help, does anyone experience the same

RPRF $490x2 is P42,000 but we submitted through MC  P43,120

i think you need only to submit $550 which in CEM conversion is 21,000 php
