Hi there. First cousins can be a sponsor under Family Stream according to the MPNP application kit. Second or third cousins are not mentioned as eligible relatives. Hope this helps!

Dear,

Second is not under family stream. It will fall under general stream.

For family it's only mother/father/son/daughter/grandparents/first cousins/niece/nephew/aunt/uncle.

If there are no recent updates on the MPNP kit, only first cousins are eligible for family stream. There is no mention of second or third cousins. The post by BK is exactly from MPNP kit. You might want to consider general stream instead.

Otherwise, you may try to get in touch with MPNP to ask them. Hope this helps!

     Im a newbie here-- but I hope you can help. My MPNP was finally approved ( Thank God). Now, Im just gathering my documents  and updating some of them. Im a bit confused on the Generic Application form for Canada ( imm 0008)

Program under which you are applying: ( what do i Write? Provincial Nominee Program??)
Category under which you are applying : ( what do i Write?))

   Hopefully I can finish and submit everything before the expiration.

Hi. We too were asked to submit IELTS. We scanned notarized copy and emailed it to my brother-in-law who forwarded it personally to MPNP Winnipeg office. We also sent a couple of notarized copies by mail should the assessing officer ask for it. My bro-in-law wrote down the file number on the printed sheet itself. Not claiming that this is the best way but this was how we did it.

Hey! i just want to ask if MPNP replied if they received your IELTS Result by Fedex?
I'm not sure if I should ask them on the e-mail add stated on the letter.

Our test was hand-carried to the MPNP office by our sponsor (he printed out scanned copy which we sent by email). The notarized hard copy we just sent to our sponsor should MPNP look for it. The letter however says  it can be emailed. You may want to scan and email it, with your file number indicated, and ask if you still have to send them a hard copy. Then wait for whatever reply.

Hi. Fill up the form using your computer. You don't have to fill it up by hand. There are drop down choices for the answers to some of the questions. Just click on the arrows.

For Q1, Program under which you are applying, choose ECONOMIC. For Q2, Category, select PROVINCIAL NOMINEE.

After 6 months of waiting after the temp file number and after sending the required docs,

Look what they replied when I inquired.

"Status updates are not provided for any applications due to our limited resources.  Once the decision is made you will be notified by regular mail"

I did sent the notarized copy by FedEx yesterday and just now, after reading your reply, i also scanned and e-mailed it to them. i just want to make sure i have all grounds covered. haha - Obsessive Compulsive much?? =D

hi to all,
im newbie here-riyadh based.  we are going to apply in July under GS. i want to ask about the COE, as mentioned in the checklist, duties and responsibilities should be included in the COE and signed.  My wife is the principal, and I am her spouse  plus our 2 kids.. Is it okey if we will not include the duties and responsibilities from previous companies, we just put a note/letter telling the regular standard original Certificate of Employment with date started/finished, position and signed by the authorized manager/personnel. .But for the current company, duties and responsibilities are written on a separate sheet. Now, all the previous certificates are notarized except for a separate letter w/out notarization, is it okey? Even for the current certificate, only the certificate is notarized, but not the duties and responsibilities which is on separate sheet.

What is estimated processing time under Strategic Initiative?

Moreover, will there be any confirmation or acknowledgement send to principal application by Manitoba immigration after receiving the application? After how much time, confirmation send to principal applicant that documents has been received?

Then in the mid of MAy i got a telephone call i.e kind of interview from Policy Officer/ Program Officer of almost 20 minutes.
first week of june i got the LOA (Letter of Approval) from Manitoba PNP and ask to apply for CIO and i submitted documents on 10th june and waiting for result. Hope for the best Insha Allah.

I applied through mail all the documentation. Be sure you have submitted your IELTS and experience certificates.
